Next to the dock at Rota’s Astaroth Marina is the Playa del Rompidillo. Its large area of sandy beach and a promenade that also serves as a choice viewpoint for shows and outdoor activities. In the northeast, a projection off the cliff known as "Pico de Barro" marks the boundary of the beach. This narrower area, bordered by vegetation, is known as Playa del Chorrillo.

Next to the beach is the municipal sailing school "Theresa Zabell" inside the marina. You can rent recreational.
