THE BEACH

From El Roqueo Street, a steep descent along a sandy lane shows the first views of Playa La Fontanilla and its landscape. At the end of the road is a parking lot and a beach snack bar where the beach’s only bathrooms are located. The northwest end of the beach is known as El Roqueo due to the presence of Punta de Los Roques, a marine rocky outcrop in front of the cliff. At the foot of the beach there are some buildings that are made up of dwellings and restaurants. Most of the beach’s amenities are located around the parking lot.
